Zubin Sannakkayala

About Me:

My name is Zubin Sannakkayala and I am a rising senior at The Overlake School in Redmond, Washington. I started playing golf as a hobby at a very young age, and have been playing tournaments competitively since the age of 13. I practice at Bear Creek Country Club, in Woodinville, WA, just ten minutes away from my house. Academically, I have a GPA of 95 on the 100 point scale (3.96 unweighted) as well as a 36 ACT score. Since starting to play golf competitively, I had won the junior club championship at Bear Creek twice, tied and broken the high school match record at Overlake twice (first with a 33, 3 under, followed by a 31, 5 under). In my freshman year, I won rookie of the year in our league, the Emerald Sound Conference, and have made first-team all-league all three years in high school. This year will be my second as high school varsity captain, and I look forward to attempting to lead our team to a state title.
